Stoned Records was released in two very limited editions back in 1977/1978. First edition - 500 copies of each album and the second edition - 500 copes of each album. Which means ONLY 1.000 copies of each album was released in total before I got busted. The difference between the first edition and the second edition are some misspellings on the covers. At the Hendrix cover I had misspelled GUITAR HERO and at the Sabbath double album I had misspelled KILLING YOURSELF TO DIE. And also some minor misspellings at the backside of the Queen album. In total the three single albums and the three double albums was manufactured/pressed (stamped) in ca 18.000 vinyl discs. Which means 1.000 copies of each album. I still have some covers of the second edition which are for sale. BUT NOTE - THERE ARE NO DISCS FOR SALE - ONLY COVERS! And NOTE - only a few copies of each found in my deep vaults. And of course - 100% LEGAL because I am the photographer/owner (copyright holder) of the images at all covers. In the future I shall sell some of my US made albums from my own private collection. Albums at TMQ label eg Bob Dylan - St. Valentine's Day Massacre (4 LP full color boxed numbered set - still sealed) from the mid 70s and many more from the beginnning, mid and the end of the 70s. |
Read the true story behind bootleg albums. Heylin Clintons 427 pages book The Secret History Of The Other Recording Industry is really of great value for the record collector. Download in PDF-format |
